Ladies Lugging Gear, started by Britt Wray and myself in 2013, is a bi-monthly Toronto symposium for storytelling, narrative crafting, directing, editing, documenting, media making, graphics juicing, animating, photographing, sound producing, street reporting, digitally cavorting Righteous Babes.
We're proud of what we've cultivated: it's candid and clever as it celebrates the smart work of creative women in Toronto. Each event is carefully curated and features a diverse crew of ladies presenting or performing their recent creative endeavours. We strive to create a positive environment where ideas, questions, tips, and advice are shared on the basis of project-empowerment and a celebration of female know-how. Laughter and red wine are mandatory.
